I have dreamed of staying in your home or one of the few like it for 30 years! It’s classic and charming and we love it. It was perfect . We are so grateful that the fence and gate had been repaired, mattress replaced, inside and fire ant problems addressed. Thank you!
Very impressed. We really love the old wood. Grounds and building well maintained. Absolutely perfect, well-stocked. We were a little concerned about the gas stove, had gas smell after we used, and the front left burner igniter kept clicking. We used other burners. After turning knobs on/off, gas smell disappeared, seems safe.
From the moment we walked in, Alta Mira was a dream! Old grand Myrtle Beach beach house with cypress walls, hardwood floors and just steps away from the beach! Thankfully, no pool, we had the Atlantic Ocean, just what we love! Our sweet old dog loved her naps in the ocean breeze on the porch! Please don’t change a thing!!!
Alta Mira was wonderful. The house looks exactly like the pictures on the listing. The linens and bath towels provided were ample and it was nice to have starter items to use until we could get to the store. Would definitely recommend staying here. Thank you for a wonderful week!!
We had a lovely time in this older beachfront home. The few issues we had were promptly addressed by Elliott Realty. Steps to the third floor are very, very steep. While the main 3rd floor bedroom is lovely, the back bedroom has no windows and a low ceiling in several places. This made it a challenge to fully use it as a functional bedroom. Beach access is super easy and the fenced in backyard was great in corralling the grandchildren. Guest house was lovely. Lots of parking in the back made it easy for our extended family. Nice place and I would book this property again.
